​Ohio DC Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Like you, we are deeply concerned about the health and well-being of our employees. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, Ohio Deferred Compensation will be altering our business procedures, so that we may continue to provide core services to our participants and employers in this challenging time.
    • As of the end of business on Friday, March 20, 2020, Ohio Deferred Compensation will shut down our office phone line. You will be able to continue to contact us with your employer-related questions or concerns by emailing We will monitor and respond to email inquiries during our regular business hours.     • Our ability to process checks mailed to our office may be compromised or fully halted in the coming weeks. In order to ensure your contribution remittances are processed timely, they must be submitted to us via Ohio Business Gateway or ACH. The Ohio Business Gateway is a safe, secure and simple way to transmit information and funds. Currently, more than 75 percent of participant contributions are electronically transmitted through the Ohio Business Gateway. You likely already utilize the Ohio Business Gateway to remit your state income tax withholdings and can utilize the same login to remit your contributions. ​​To use the Ohio Business Gateway to easily submit your remittances visit this link
​​We cannot guarantee remittances received via mail after March 20, 2020 will be  processed  in a timely  manner. Employers who need help submitting contributions utilizing the Ohio Business Gateway can contact us by email at​.
    • Effective Friday, March 20, 2020, Ohio Deferred Compensation contribution billings and change reports will be sent through email for all employers who currently receive them through the mail. However, employers who have requested their billings include social security numbers will now be sent by fax. Employers who already receive billings by fax or email will see no change to their current method of delivery.
    • The rollout of the Roth 457 option has been postponed. Those resources are being redirected to maintain basic operations. Further communication on the availability of the Roth 457 option will be provided in the future.
